Everything you want to know.
Even the sasquatch questions.
About Sasquatch Electric
-
Nope. We’re here year-round.
Whether you’re opening the beach house for summer or checking on frozen pipes in January, Sasquatch Electric is still roaming Delmarva.
You can call us anytime. Don’t bother checking your calendar first.
-
The traditional methods involve howling into the woods, knocking on trees, or leaving a trail of beef jerky.
For faster results, try (302) 249-3141.
It’s significantly more reliable.
-
Confirmed and documented.
-
There are plenty of electrical companies named after lighting bolts, electrical puns, and last names.
We figured the world could handle one named after a Sasquatch.
It gets people talking. The quality of work is what we hope they’ll remember most.

-
Usually.
We take electrical work very seriously.
We just don't think every interaction has to feel like reading a refrigerator instruction manual.
The internet gets the jokes. (Most of them.)
Your home or business gets competent, quality, licensed electrical work.
Life’s too short to turn down a laugh.
Stay legendary.
Scheduling & Estimates
-
Electrical problems don't come with instructions.
During a troubleshooting trip, we'll investigate the issue, perform diagnostic testing, and work to identify the root cause—not just the symptom.
Whether it's flickering lights, tripping breakers, dead outlets, or mysterious electrical behavior, our goal is to find what's actually wrong, explain it in plain English, and discuss the best options for repair.
Sometimes the fix is simple. Sometimes the mystery is more interesting.
Either way, we'll help you make sense of it.
Every mystery leaves clues.
Learn more about our troubleshooting process in the Homeowner's Handbook, where we break down common electrical problems, diagnostic methods, and real-world examples from the field.
-
We’ll be surprised together.
Sometimes electrical projects uncover issues that weren't visible during the initial estimate.
Hidden junction boxes, damaged wiring, code violations, water intrusion, overloaded equipment, and previous DIY repairs are some of the more common surprises we encounter.
If we discover something unexpected, we'll explain what we found, discuss your options, and provide pricing for any additional work before moving forward.
No additional surprises. No mystery charges. Just clear communication and informed decisions.
-
Absolutely.
Sometimes the answer is a repair.
Sometimes it's a replacement.
Sometimes it's nothing at all.
We’d rather give you an honest answer today than sell you something you don't need and lose your trust tomorrow.
The electrical industry already has enough mystery in it.
We're not interested in adding to it.
-
Sure.
Just know we can't warranty mystery Amazon specials with names like:
"SUPER BRIGHT HAPPY POWER SUN LIGHT PRO MAX 6000."
-
We leave fewer traces than an actual sasquatch.
-
Maybe.
Zach cut his own hair a few times and eventually realized there was a professional solution to that problem.
He did save some money.
Nobody else saved anything.
Some electrical jobs are great DIY projects. Some are better left to someone who does it every day.
Changing a light bulb? Sure.
Replacing a receptacle? Maybe.
Standing in front of an open panel thinking, "I watched a guy on YouTube do this...?”
That's usually where a simple Saturday project turns into a memorable story for your home insurance company.
-
Sometimes.
We're a small company, which means when you call, you're not getting a call center or a dispatcher three states away. You're getting a real person who probably has to put down some tools to answer the phone.
If we have room in the schedule, we'll do our best to get there the same day.
If we're booked up, we'll be honest about that too.
Of course, "same day" means different things depending on the problem. A complete loss of power tends to move up the list a little faster than a ceiling fan that makes a funny noise.
The best thing to do is give us a call. We'll let you know what our schedule looks like and do our best to help.
Sometimes a squatch can be there today.
Sometimes they’re already too deep in the woods.
-
Sometimes.
For some projects, pictures tell us everything we need to know.
For others, pictures are how we end up discovering the important stuff wasn't in the picture.
The more information you can provide, the better. A few good photos and a quick phone call are often enough for us to put together a reasonable estimate without making a trip to your home.
That can save you the $99 consultation fee.
Just keep in mind that estimates based on photos are exactly that: estimates. If we arrive and discover conditions that weren't visible, discussed, or accessible in the photos, the price may need to be adjusted accordingly.
Nobody likes surprises, including us.
The goal is to gather enough information upfront to give you the most accurate estimate possible while saving everyone time.
If we're confident we can quote it from photos, we'll tell you.
If we think we need to see it in person, we'll tell you that too.
Sometimes the pictures tell the whole story.
Sometimes they're just the trailer.
-
No they’re not — our estimate and consultation visits are $99.
That visit includes travel, time spent assessing the project, discussing options, and helping you understand the scope of work.
If you move forward with the project, that $99 is credited directly toward your invoice.
We know free estimates are common in the industry, but good project planning and estimating take real time — and we want to be able to give every homeowner our full attention instead of rushing from house to house.
In short:
You get a professional estimate.
We get compensated for our time.
Approved projects receive the credit back anyway.
Fair for everybody.
-
Most of our work takes place throughout Sussex County, Delaware.
That includes communities like Milton, Harbeson, Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach, Bethany Beach, Fenwick Island, Selbyville, Ocean View, Frankford, Gumboro, Dagsboro, Millsboro, Georgetown, Ellendale, Greenwood, Bridgeville, Laurel, Seaford, Delmar, and the surrounding areas.
If you're not sure whether you're in our service area, just ask.
We've been known to wander a little.
Travel requirements vary depending on the project, but we're always happy to discuss your location before scheduling a visit.
The worst thing we can say is, "That's a little outside our footprint."
